Setting up two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds a six-digit code from your authenticator app to your CreeperPanel sign-in. Keep access to that app when moving to a new phone.
Enable 2FA
- Sign in to CreeperPanel as the account owner.
- Open Profile → 2-Factor Auth from the account menu.
- Select Enable 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator, or enter the setup secret shown beneath it.
- Enter the new six-digit code from the authenticator and confirm.
- Check that the page now offers Disable 2FA.
When a sign-in asks for your authentication code, use the current code for your CreeperHost account. If it expires before you submit it, wait for the next code and try again.
Change or disable 2FA
Select Disable 2FA on the same page and enter a current six-digit code. To move to another authenticator, set 2FA up again with the new app after disabling the old one.
If you cannot access your authenticator or sign in, contact support for help with your account. Do not share your password or authentication codes with anyone.
You can also set up a passkey for passwordless sign-in. Passkeys have their own page and removal controls.
