A dedicated Valheim server runs independently of every player's PC. The world stays available for the group, so friends can gather resources, improve the settlement or set sail without waiting for one particular person to launch the save.

Server administrators can be added through the familiar file tools using their Steam64 IDs. Connection details and service state remain close by, making it easy to get a new player into the right world and a trusted player into the right role.

For groups that want more from Valheim, CreeperPanel includes a dedicated Plugins area backed by Thunderstore search. Find a package, see its details and install the selected release from the panel. ValheimPlus has its own supported installation route through the Versions tools, with its configuration available in File Manager.

That means a modded Valheim server still feels like a Valheim service in the panel. The installed world, Thunderstore packages, ValheimPlus configuration and backups stay together, and a restore point is close at hand before a larger change.
