Eco is our budget entry range. It uses dependable second-life enterprise hardware to keep costs down and reduce waste while still giving you a full-time server. It is not the flagship range, but it is a good way to get a lighter world online without paying Premium prices.
Sometimes, yes, and players do use Eco successfully for modded servers. For large packs, heavy worldgen, bigger groups, or smoother TPS under load, Premium is the better fit. Eco is the budget door in; Premium is the plan we recommend when the pack gets serious.
No. Ask Theo is a Premium and Pro feature. Eco servers still use CreeperPanel for installs, files, configs, restarts, and supported game management, but Theo runs on dedicated CreeperHost-controlled hardware and belongs with the higher ranges.
Yes. You can switch to Premium whenever you want from your dashboard. If you upgrade, you just pay the difference and unlock the stronger hardware and Premium feature set without starting again.
Eco runs one game or modpack at a time so it stays simple and affordable. You can swap to another supported game when you want a change: stop one, pick another, and let the panel handle the boring bits.
No. Eco keeps costs low by staying panel-first. You manage installs, files, mods, configs, and restarts through CreeperPanel. If you want deeper access, Premium is the right range.
No. Turbo Start is exclusive to Premium. Eco servers start at standard speed, which is fine for lighter worlds, but Premium gets the extra shove for startup, worldgen, and heavier modded moments.
Yes. You can add mods and edit configs through CreeperPanel. For Minecraft, our config layering helps protect your changes during updates. For other supported games, the panel gives you the settings and files you need without needing terminal access.
Eco servers stay in their chosen location so we can keep pricing low. If location moves matter for your group, upgrade to Premium for free location transfers up to 3 times a month.
Eco plans include a full refund if you are not happy within the first 72 hours. Refunds for unused time are available up to 28 days, and beyond that we can usually help with account credit.
