Transfer your service to another location

Use Change Location to move your server to another available location. Check the destination before requesting a transfer, and let your players know the server will be unavailable while it moves.

Choose a destination

1. Select the server you want to move in CreeperPanel.
2. Open Change Location under Service.

The page shows your remaining transfer allowance and the available destinations. Latency or distance information can help you compare locations; choose one that suits your players.

Select a location, read the confirmation and choose Request. An unavailable destination may need a longer wait; read the queue message before confirming.

While your transfer is queued

The status message shows your place in the queue. Waiting time depends on the queue and destination availability, so a request may take several hours to begin.

Use Cancel Transfer if you change your mind while that button is available. Once the move has started, it can no longer be cancelled from the page.

Follow the move

When the transfer starts, the page shows its progress and an estimated completion time. Transferred data and speed appear when reported. The estimate can change while the move runs.

Wait for the Panel to confirm completion, then check the server before inviting players back. The destination choices return when the transfer is finished.

The page shows the allowance for your service, with a maximum of two transfers in any 28-day period. If you cannot use the transfer system or need to move a dedicated server, contact support.
