When you have finished downloading and installing mods, make sure that they are Enabled. Disabled mods will not be loaded by RimWorld.

RimWorld only allows connection via an IP address. Make sure you copy the server's IP address correctly.
Managing RimWorld Together server mods
The server's Mods page manages the Workshop collection and the rules used by RimWorld Together. Players still need to follow the client setup guide.
