Adding mods to Foundry
If you have a Foundry service installed, its Mods page accepts mod ZIP files and lets you manage the installed collection.
- Stop your Foundry server and open Mods.
- Upload the author's ZIP using the upload box. The Panel extracts it for you.
- Check the installed list for the mod's name, then start the server.
The archive needs to contain the mod's own folder and modInfo.json. If an upload does not appear, use Files to check the extracted folders under foundry/Mods, and compare the package with the author's installation instructions.
Use the switch to enable or disable an installed mod. Disabling keeps its files, so you can turn it back on later. The remove control deletes the mod folder.
Download a release that supports your Foundry version, and check whether everyone joining also needs it. Stop the server and back up your save before replacing or removing mods that change the world.
