Restoring Saved Worlds
Saved Worlds lets you pick up an earlier game on a new server. Available game-save backups are stored free until the expiry shown in the panel. You need a paid server to restore and run them.
Find your earlier world
If you have no active server, open Saved Worlds from Home. Each card shows the available instances and, where known, the game, modpack and version. Check Available until before making plans around a backup. Expired entries cannot be restored.
- Find the world you want to continue.
- Select Get a server for this world or Choose a server.
- Configure and order your server on creeperhost.net.
- Return to CreeperPanel when setup has finished.
The panel remembers the world you selected and highlights it when you return to restore. If the game cannot be identified or the card shows a warning, use Ask support about this world.
Restore onto a server
- Select the destination server carefully.
- Open its Saved Worlds page.
- Find the saved archive and enable the switches beside the games or instances you want to restore.
- Select Restore and stay on the page while the progress messages run.
- Once restoration is complete, open the restored game from the navigation and check its console before inviting players back.
The restore process installs the required game/version and copies the selected save data. Use a fresh destination where possible. If the server already contains a world you want to keep, back it up before restoring, and ask support if you are unsure how the two setups will interact.
After restoration, you can use the game's world tools or File Manager to download your own copy where supported.
Saved Worlds is separate from Cloud Saves, SaveGuard and paid Legacy Storage. It does not keep a whole VPS image or extend a backup beyond its displayed expiry.
