Managing Docker containers

Open the Containers page to create and manage containers on your installed Docker service. Docker availability depends on your hosting plan.

Create a container

  1. Select your server and open the installed Docker service.
  2. Make sure the Docker service is running, then open Containers.
  3. Under Add New Container, enter the required image and version in Docker Image:Version.
  4. Select the + button.
  5. Add any required Extra image arguments, or select Skip if none are needed.
  6. Wait for the result, then check the new row's Image, Ports and Status.

Use the image publisher's instructions for the image name, version, ports and persistent storage it needs. A container can start successfully without the application inside it being ready, so check the application before inviting players or relying on it.

Start, stop or remove a container

Use the row's action controls to start or stop a container. Stopping asks for confirmation. To remove one, stop it first, select Remove, then read and confirm the removal prompt.

Keep any data you need before removing a container. In particular, do not assume files stored only inside the container will remain available afterwards.

Select the container's name to copy its ID when support needs it. If the page says Your docker service is not running, start the Docker service before retrying container actions.
