Checking account activity

The account Logs page helps you work out when a server action happened and where the request came from. It is available to account owners with a service.

  1. Open Logs in the account navigation, or find it using navigation search.
  2. Start with Important for the shorter list of significant actions.
  3. Switch to All when you need the wider request history.
  4. Find the time of the change and check its IP, Service, Command and Status.

The service identifies the server involved; the command describes the requested action. Check the status as well as the command, because an attempted action may not have succeeded.

If something is unfamiliar, note the time, service and command when contacting support. An IP address alone does not identify a person, particularly on a shared connection or VPN. You can also review Linked Apps and your account's sign-in methods.
