Turbo Start

Getting a game server started can mean loading a world, preparing mods and bringing a lot of moving parts together. Turbo Start puts spare CPU capacity to work during startup, helping your server get ready for everyone to join.

We test games ourselves, then enable Turbo Start for those that benefit from extra CPU capacity at startup. On Premium plans with more than two vCores, it activates automatically when you start an enabled game. A boost lasts for up to 15 minutes and is available once per hour.

Give startup a boost

Start your game through CreeperPanel as usual. Turbo Start brings available CPU capacity into play while the server loads and gets ready for your group.

Watch the startup console as the game comes to life. After the boost, your server returns to its usual CPU allocation.

How it fits with PhaseShift

Turbo Start focuses extra CPU capacity on startup. PhaseShift brings CPU placement and memory caching together throughout your session, adapting as your server gets busier or settles into a quieter spell.
