Importing a CurseForge Mod Pack Profile

Getting your Profile Code

Importing a CurseForge modpack, or a modpack of your own on CurseForge, is incredibly easy on the CreeperPanel. To begin:

Open the CurseForge app. Right-click the profile you wish to share, and select Share Profile. You will need to be logged in.

CurseForge will present you with a pop-up screen. Select Generate Code.

CurseForge will provide you with a code in the pop-up - click Copy to Clipboard. CurseForge will notify you that the code has been copied.

Import the profile in CreeperPanel

Select the Minecraft instance you want to use, stop it and take a backup. The import goes into the selected instance. To keep your existing setup, create another instance first.

1. Open Versions & Modpacks.
2. Select Import a Pack, then CurseForge.
3. Paste your profile code and select Find Profile.
4. Check who shared the profile, then select Import Profile to continue.
5. Wait for installation to finish, then start the instance and check the Console.

Only import profiles from someone you trust. Your players will need the matching profile in their own launcher.

Import a changed profile

If you change the custom profile in CurseForge, generate a fresh code and repeat the import into the intended instance. Take another backup first. Changes in your launcher do not automatically appear on the server.
