Managing Hytale worlds
Use Worlds on your Hytale service to keep several worlds, bring an existing world to the server or download a copy to your computer.
Upload and select a world
- Stop Hytale and keep a copy of your existing save.
- Open Worlds and upload an archive containing the world you want to import. ZIP is supported.
- Wait for the upload, analysis and extraction to finish. The Panel shows the name assigned to the imported world.
- Find that entry in the list and turn on its selection switch.
- Start the server and check that you arrive in the intended world.
The selected entry is the server's default world. Other world folders remain listed; choosing a different default does not delete them.
Create or download a world
Select New World, give it a name and confirm. Start Hytale to generate it. The world generation guide explains the choices offered for a new world.
Use the download button beside a world to save a copy to your computer. Stop the server first for a consistent copy. The delete button permanently removes that world's folder after confirmation, so download anything you want to keep before removing it.
