Adding Valheim plugins from Thunderstore

Open Plugins on your Valheim service to search Thunderstore and install packages with their dependencies.

1. Stop the server and open Plugins.
2. If the page offers Initialise Plugin Manager, select it first.
3. Search for the plugin, check its information and select Install.
4. Read the dependency prompt. It lists additional packages to install and any installed dependencies that need a different version.
5. Confirm the changes, wait for installation to finish, then check Installed Plugins before starting the server.

If the Panel reports conflicting dependency versions, choose compatible package versions or remove the conflicting choice before trying again. Repeating the same install will not resolve incompatible requirements.

Manage installed packages

Use the switch beside a package to enable or disable it. Use the remove control to delete that package's managed files. A Thunderstore package can contain several files, so manage it through this list rather than treating every DLL as a separate plugin.

Disabling or removing one package does not mean its dependencies are no longer needed: other plugins may still use them. Check the remaining collection before removing shared dependencies.

Check each plugin's instructions for required client installations and compatible Valheim versions. Valheim Plus has its own guide; it is one modded setup, not a requirement for every Thunderstore package.
