How to find a player's SteamID

Fill your own SteamID64 from Steam

Where a setting offers Sign in with Steam, select it and sign in to the Steam account you want to use. Return to the Panel after confirmation. A single-ID field is filled with your SteamID64; a supported comma-separated list adds it without duplicating an existing entry.

Check the value, then Save the settings. Signing in fills the field; it does not save the game configuration for you. Allow the sign-in popup if your browser blocks it.

Look up another player's ID

Some games require using a player's SteamID to grant admin permissions, ban a player, and so-on; as such you will need to get their SteamID. You can use a website such as https://steamid.io/ to get their SteamID.

1. Navigate to https://steamid.io/.

2. Once the website loads, you will need to enter one of the following options:

   1. Steam profile URL (e.g http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197960287930 or http://steamcommunity.com/id/gabelogannewell)
   2. Steam username
   3. SteamID (E.g. STEAM_0:0:11101)
   4. SteamID64 (E.g. 76561197960287930)
   5. SteamID3 (E.g. [U:1:22202])

3. Click on the lookup button, and you should now get their SteamID in all the available formats

4. Copy the SteamID in the format you require, and enter it in the relevant place.
