Adding Resource/ Behaviour Packs to your server

warning

Before adding or removing resource/ behaviour packs, ensure your server is switched OFF to prevent data loss/corruption.

Before adding resource or behaviour packs to your server, you'll need to create a local world in Bedrock Edition with the packs you wish to upload enabled. To get started:

  1. Using the Minecraft launcher, start Bedrock Edition, find the resource/ behaviour packs you wish to use and download them to your PC.

  2. Once you have installed the required packs(s), create a new world in Bedrock Edition, then close the game.

  3. Next, open your file explorer on your PC, and navigate to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock\Users\YourMinecraftUserID\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds, replacing YourUsername with your local account name. YourMinecraftUserID will instead be a numerical string unique to each user on your PC.

  4. Inside the minecraftWorlds directory, you will see your world save folder(s). Open the folder of the world you have just created; if it isn't clear which world you will need, check its timestamp in the explorer window.
