A mod experiment, an unwanted change or a bad update can put a dent in a world full of quest progress and collected creatures. SaveGuard is available on eligible Premium and Pro services, making hourly restore points for the last seven days.
Those restore points are held on dedicated backup storage away from your game node, rather than taking space from your server disk. Before a restore goes ahead, SaveGuard first preserves the current state and then shows which files would be added, changed or removed. You can check the likely result before replacing anything.
That matters when the group has built up progress through regular events and adventures. Premium can be the stronger choice for a long-running, heavily modded world where repeating lost progress would be a real pain.

Friends sometimes want to try an addition alongside the pack, whether it is a small convenience or something for the whole group. Extra mods keeps those additions separate from the pack files, so a later pack update does not wipe them out.
From CreeperPanel, you can search for matching mods and bring in required dependencies where needed. You can also turn additions on or off from the panel, which makes it easier to test an idea without rebuilding the server around it.
That separation keeps your own additions from becoming a chore every time the pack changes. Try something, keep it if everyone enjoys it, or switch it off when it is more trouble than fun.
