Host your MineColonies Father & Son server
MineColonies Father & Son server hosting with CreeperHost puts your medieval and steampunk town on a server built for shared projects. MineColonies brings NPC citizens, town building and expanding settlements, while automation, machines, new armour and weapons leave plenty to do beyond colony management. Your friends can help shape the city, explore, gather materials and keep supplies moving.
Build a colony with plenty going on
A growing settlement quickly becomes a shared responsibility. One person might plan buildings while another gathers resources, improves storage or works on transport. Sophisticated Storage and backpacks help organise the materials your town needs, and railways, carts and other vehicles add useful ways to move goods around the world.
CreeperPanel installs the chosen pack version and lets you switch to another supported version without rebuilding the server by hand. That keeps version changes from becoming an excuse to abandon a colony you’ve spent evenings developing.
Protect a town you’ve worked hard to build
A mod experiment or update can leave you wishing for yesterday’s world. SaveGuard is available on eligible Premium and Pro services, with restore data held on dedicated backup storage away from the game node rather than on your allocated server disk. That separation matters when the whole game node has a problem, not just when a single file goes wrong.
Before a restore proceeds, SaveGuard saves the current state and shows which files would be added, changed or removed. You can inspect what will happen before rolling the town back, instead of crossing your fingers and hoping the right buildings survive.
Keep NeoForge settings steady as the pack changes
A large colony often leads to small adjustments: perhaps you want different supported mod settings as the town develops, without repeatedly editing files inside the pack. For NeoForge 1.21 and newer packs, Config Layers presents supported settings in a visual editor and stores your choices in a separate JSON layer.
A Java agent merges those values when the server launches without changing the pack’s original configuration files. When a pack or mod update arrives, your chosen settings aren’t simply overwritten with the rest of the files. You can adjust supported options from CreeperPanel while keeping the original configuration intact, which is much less fiddly than hunting through folders after every update.
With CreeperHost, the panel handles the repetitive server work while you concentrate on roads, workshops, citizens and the next ambitious addition to your town.
Got questions?
Yes. Order from a modpack page and the selected pack is ready to install. You can also change versions or choose another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
Our installer prepares the Minecraft version, loader and server files, setting aside recognised client-only mods and addons that depend on them. On supported Forge and NeoForge startup paths, our tools can identify a further client-only crash, disable the responsible file and restart your instance. The file is retained, the panel explains what changed, and that file is remembered for future installations. We have been building our client-pack-to-server tooling since 2017.
Yep. Search for extra mods in CreeperPanel, then install, update, enable or disable them alongside your pack. The panel checks the Minecraft version and modloader, brings in required dependencies and identifies known client-only mods. Your additions stay separate from the pack files, ready for the next pack update.
On Premium and Pro services, SaveGuard keeps recovery points on separate backup storage and shares unchanged data between snapshots. Choose an available point in CreeperPanel: it makes a fresh backup of your current world and shows the files the restore will change before you confirm.
Open Instant Refund in CreeperPanel to see your available refund amount and whether it returns to your payment method or account credit. Review the details, confirm, and it is processed automatically. Instant Refund is available on both Eco and Premium.
On Eco and Premium, Save Your World keeps your game saves for up to a year after your service ends, including after a missed payment, and emails you a download link. Keep a copy or take it to another host. Return within that time and CreeperPanel can set up the game and restore your save to your new service.
Eco is an option for lighter packs. Premium is our usual recommendation for modded Minecraft, with newer hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory and Ask Theo. Choose room for the pack, world and friends you want to bring together.
CreeperHost's generative AI tools drafted this description from information freely available to the public and facts about our own hosting. Our pack automation has been built and improved by experienced members of the modded Minecraft community since 2017; AI helps us describe that enormous catalogue, it does not make the server packs. We review and replace these drafts as time allows or when somebody flags one for the human touch. Spotted an inaccuracy? Please let us know.
