Host your Play as Dragon [Abandoned] server
Play as Dragon [Abandoned] is a demanding dragon-survival modpack for CreeperHost hosting, built around exploration, quests, magic, and a harsh Minecraft 1.18.2 adventure. The pack is no longer supported by its developer, but remains playable for those seeking an older, high-difficulty experience with extensive quest text and a world full of dangerous encounters.
Become a Dragon
You begin as a dragon with the ability to fly, but wings do not make survival easy. Skeletons are more common on the surface, zombies appear in caves, and unfamiliar creatures may be waiting underground. Deep-water caves contain drowned, fish, zombie turtles, and dolphins, while enhanced hostile mobs can have special properties.
Mob damage is increased, and the world is designed to punish careless decisions. Each death can make bosses stronger and grant them new abilities. Even the ender dragon is presented as a serious threat. A tombstone protects your belongings after death, giving you a chance to recover rather than leaving items scattered on the ground.
Explore a Changing World
Seasons alter biomes and influence garden harvests, adding another consideration to survival and travel. Iron, copper, and coal are much less common than in vanilla Minecraft, encouraging you to investigate alternative ways to obtain important materials. Quests provide hints as you progress.
You can track animals, plants, and ores during exploration to receive in-game information and real-world facts. The quest book also covers dragons, travel, trade, building, Create, combat, and optional grinding objectives. Some features, including Create and storage-related mods, are locked until related quests are completed.
CreeperHost Hosting Features
CreeperPanel supports one-click modpack installation and updates that preserve your configuration changes. Built-in tools help manage files, mods, configurations, players, inventories, worlds, and backups, while diagnostic features assist with investigating lag.
CreeperHost uses game-server hardware selected for strong native CPU performance and stability. DDoS protection and location choice are included, and real support staff bring experience hosting modded communities since 2011.
Important Compatibility Notes
The catalogue identifies this pack as Forge for Minecraft 1.18.2, and the source notes that it was designed primarily for single-player use. A hosted setup may require removing client-focused mods such as Rubidium, Rubidium Extras, Oculus, FancyMenu, and Shutdown Experimental Settings. There is no separate server edition.
The English localization is nearly complete but may need testing, while other localizations may require updates. Because the pack is abandoned, future compatibility and quest-book issues may require manual attention.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
