Unchanged chunks of files are shared between snapshots, so the history doesn’t need a fresh, complete copy each time or eat into your allocated game-server disk.

You can choose from the recovery points shown in CreeperPanel when a mod experiment or update leaves you wanting to undo a change. Before you confirm a restore, the panel shows which files will be added, changed or removed. That preview makes the decision clearer: you’re looking at what the restore will actually alter, rather than pressing a button and hoping it’s the right point.

Your friends may settle on settings they want to keep, even as the pack moves forward. HSV Technologic Survival uses NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1, within Config Layers’ support for NeoForge 1.21 and newer packs.

For supported mod settings, you can make your choices in CreeperPanel’s visual editor. CreeperPanel stores those values in a separate JSON layer, and a Java agent merges them when the server launches without changing the pack’s original configuration files.

The distinction matters when you update. Your choices stay separate from the files arriving with the pack, so pack or mod updates don’t overwrite them. You don’t have to edit the pack itself just to preserve a setting your friends agreed on. The pack keeps its own configuration, while your server keeps the supported changes you’ve chosen.

Get a stranded explorer somewhere safe

Exploration can leave a friend a long way from where they meant to be. When you need to find them, Player Manager shows their location and what they’re carrying or wearing in CreeperPanel. You can see the situation rather than trying to piece it together from hurried chat messages.

You can also move a stranded player somewhere safe from the panel. That gives you a direct way to help when someone needs a hand getting back, without asking them to navigate their way out first. Your friends can return to playing, and you can deal with the interruption without making everyone else stop their evening too.
