Your Techopolis server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Techopolis server
Host Techopolis as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a factory world that keeps running between sessions. We handle the server-side chores while you tackle quests, expand production, and debate who made the storage system incomprehensible.
- One-click installation gets the correct Forge pack online quickly.
- Premium plans give growing automation and storage networks room to breathe.
- Home-hosted worlds stop when the owner’s PC sleeps, restarts, or leaves.
- Casual hosting can struggle as machines, transport systems, and loaded areas multiply.
- CreeperPanel makes mods and configuration files easier to manage.
What Is Techopolis?
Techopolis is an expert-style technology pack for Minecraft 1.16.5, built around quests and skyblock progression. With 163 mods, it has enough machinery, storage, construction tools, and supporting systems for a substantial long-term playthrough.
Recognisable inclusions include Applied Energistics 2, Thermal Expansion, Powah, Tinkers’ Construct, Building Gadgets, and Integrated Tunnels. Together, they give groups plenty of scope to build organised factories—or elaborate tangles of pipes that everyone insists are temporary.
The quest-led format gives a multiplayer group direction while still leaving room to divide jobs, compare designs, and develop a shared base over time.
Better When the Factory Is Always There
A hosted Techopolis server lets everyone progress without waiting for one player to launch a local world. Different time zones become less awkward, and the group can return to the same questing and building project whenever they are free.
CreeperHost’s pack installer handles the initial setup, while updates can preserve your configuration changes. That matters for a long-running expert pack, where restarting from a fresh installation or manually rebuilding server files is nobody’s idea of a relaxing evening.
You can also manage mods and configs through CreeperPanel rather than digging through directories for every adjustment.
Hosting Considerations for Techopolis
Tech packs commonly become more demanding as the world matures. Early skyblock bases may be modest, but automated processing, item movement, power systems, and large storage networks can add steady work to each server tick.
For that reason, we generally recommend our Premium range for Techopolis, particularly for groups planning a full quest playthrough. Strong single-thread CPU performance is often more important than simply assigning an oversized amount of memory. Enough memory still matters for Forge, the pack’s 163 mods, active players, and Java’s normal housekeeping.
Good factory design also helps. Avoid leaving large numbers of items loose in the world, keep transport loops under control, and load only the areas that genuinely need to run. If tick time begins climbing, adding more memory may not fix it; the cause is often a particular machine setup, storage network, or overloaded area.
After updates or major configuration changes, allow extra time for the first startup. Forge servers can take a while to rebuild caches and load everything cleanly.
Why Run Techopolis with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra systems tuned for modded Minecraft.
If the factory starts stuttering, CreeperPanel’s diagnostic tools help identify where the server is spending its time. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server state, explain likely issues, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.
And when the problem gets properly strange, our team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded communities.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
