The SuperHero Journey is a 163-mod Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge pack built around superheroes, combat, bosses, and exploration. It also gives players plenty to pursue between major fights.

Create, Thermal Expansion, and Mekanism Generators support increasingly ambitious machinery. Ars Nouveau, Blood Magic, and Botania open several magical paths, while Ad Astra extends exploration beyond the usual dimensions. Alex’s Mobs, Ice and Fire, When Dungeons Arise, and YUNG’s structure overhauls help keep expeditions eventful.

Terrain generation commonly causes the sharpest CPU and storage bursts. If several players travel in different directions, enter new dimensions, or search for structures simultaneously, the server has considerably more work to do. Pre-generating commonly used areas can reduce those spikes, although exploration-heavy groups should still leave performance headroom.

As the world matures, large Create builds, processing systems, storage networks, and mob-filled bases can add steady tick load. Sensible machine layouts and avoiding unnecessary always-running contraptions usually matter more than simply throwing memory at the problem.

Memory needs also tend to rise with player activity, loaded regions, and world age. Too little can cause frequent garbage collection or crashes, while excessive allocation is not an automatic cure for lag. Start with an appropriate Premium plan, watch actual usage, and adjust from evidence.

Keep the server and player installations on the same pack release and Forge version. Back up before pack updates, particularly when the world contains complex machines, dimensions, or heavily customised configuration.
