Your Technically Industrial server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Technically Industrial server

Host Technically Industrial as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a shared world for ambitious factories, exploration, colonies, and the occasional machine-induced crisis.

  • Install the pack in a few clicks and update without overwriting your configuration changes.
  • Premium plans are the better starting point for a growing, long-running world.
  • Home-hosted servers can struggle once factories, colonies, and loaded chunks multiply.
  • Casual hosting often becomes awkward when nobody is online to maintain the machine.
  • Built-in lag tools help track down troublesome chunks, entities, and contraptions.

What Is Technically Industrial?

Technically Industrial is a Forge modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1, combining technology, exploration, combat, and multiplayer progression across 132 mods.

Its technology selection supports several different engineering styles. Create brings moving contraptions and production lines, while Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, PneumaticCraft, and XNet offer more routes into power, automation, and logistics. Ad Astra takes progression beyond the Overworld, and MineColonies gives groups a substantial shared building project.

Exploration has teeth too. Alex’s Caves, Alex’s Mobs, Progressive Bosses, and expanded structures give players reasons to leave the factory floor. It is a good fit for groups that enjoy dividing jobs, comparing wildly different machine rooms, and discovering whose pipe network has become sentient.

Hosting Considerations for Technically Industrial

This is a moderately large pack, but mod count alone does not determine how a server behaves. The bigger factors are what players build, how widely they explore, and how much machinery remains active.

World generation commonly produces short CPU spikes when several players travel into new terrain at once. Pre-generating commonly used areas can smooth out early exploration, though distant planets and dimensions may still create fresh terrain later.

Established worlds usually become more demanding than new ones. Create contraptions, transport networks, processing chains, MineColonies citizens, mobs, and chunk-loaded machinery all add ticking work. One sensible factory is rarely the problem; several permanently running industrial districts can be.

Memory needs also tend to rise as the world grows and more dimensions or chunks stay loaded. Leave room above the pack’s basic startup requirement rather than choosing a plan with no breathing space. For that reason, we generally recommend the Premium range for an active Technically Industrial server, especially if your group plans large colonies or persistent automation.

Routine housekeeping helps: limit unnecessary chunk loading, avoid enormous item backlogs, and inspect lag before adding more hardware blindly. A broken loop or overloaded storage network can cause more trouble than the pack itself.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded servers native CPU performance, which matters when Minecraft is processing factories, entities, and newly generated terrain on the same tick.

On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the server’s current state, explain likely causes of an issue, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. It does not replace human support; real CreeperHost people are still here when the logs turn into alphabet soup.

We have hosted modded Minecraft communities for more than 13 years. You get a server built around how these packs actually grow—not a spare computer that someone must keep awake all weekend.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
