Host your Freedom of Progression server

Host Freedom of Progression as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give everyone a shared world for quests, machines, magic, farming, and dungeon runs—without relying on one player’s PC to keep it alive.

  • Install the pack in a few clicks rather than assembling 233 mods by hand.
  • Premium plans are recommended for better headroom as worlds and bases grow.
  • Home hosting ties uptime to one computer, connection, and owner.
  • Casual hosting can stumble when several players generate new terrain at once.
  • Get help from people who have hosted modded Minecraft for over 13 years.

What to Expect from Freedom of Progression

Freedom of Progression is a Minecraft 1.16.5 Forge pack built to introduce groups to several sides of modded play without locking everyone into the same path. FTB Quests gives the group direction, while players can branch into engineering, magic, farming, building, or exploration.

The mod list includes recognisable favourites such as Create, Mekanism, Industrial Foregoing, Thermal Expansion, Botania, Blood Magic, Farmer’s Delight, Mystical Agriculture, and ProjectE. Better Dungeons and Better Strongholds add reasons to leave the workshop behind.

Our one-click installer handles the initial setup, while updates can preserve your configuration changes instead of flattening every tweak you have made.

Hosting Considerations for Freedom of Progression

Exploration and world generation

Large Forge packs commonly work hardest when players travel in different directions and generate terrain simultaneously. Dungeon and structure mods add more work during this process, so exploration nights may be noticeably heavier than routine building sessions.

Pre-generating the area your group expects to use can reduce those spikes. It is also worth setting a sensible world border before everyone scatters thousands of blocks apart. Keep regular backups before world-generation changes, pack updates, or major config edits.

Automation and long-running bases

The early game may run comfortably, but established worlds tend to become busier. Create contraptions, Industrial Foregoing machines, storage networks, farms, loaded chunks, and large numbers of dropped items can all add tick time when left running continuously.

Memory matters with a pack of this size, but allocating ever more RAM is not a cure for slow automation. Strong single-thread CPU performance, sensible chunk loading, and checking which machines or entities are consuming tick time usually matter more. For an active group or a world intended to run for months, we recommend starting in our Premium range rather than leaving no room for growth.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware chosen for modded Minecraft, helping the server’s main thread keep pace when the pack gets busy.

CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag rather than making you guess which base caused it. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

When a mod interaction gets properly strange, real CreeperHost support is still there to help.

Got questions?

Yes. Order from a modpack page and the selected pack is ready to install. You can also change versions or choose another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

Our installer prepares the Minecraft version, loader and server files, setting aside recognised client-only mods and addons that depend on them. On supported Forge and NeoForge startup paths, our tools can identify a further client-only crash, disable the responsible file and restart your instance. The file is retained, the panel explains what changed, and that file is remembered for future installations. We have been building our client-pack-to-server tooling since 2017.

Yep. Search for extra mods in CreeperPanel, then install, update, enable or disable them alongside your pack. The panel checks the Minecraft version and modloader, brings in required dependencies and identifies known client-only mods. Your additions stay separate from the pack files, ready for the next pack update.

On Premium and Pro, SaveGuard backs up your supported game saves hourly on a separate machine, with up to 7 days of history. Choose a restore point in CreeperPanel, review the files it will change and confirm. SaveGuard backs up your current world before you roll back too. SaveGuard retention policy

Open Instant Refund in CreeperPanel to see your available refund amount and whether it returns to your payment method or account credit. Review the details, confirm, and it is processed automatically. Instant Refund is available on both Eco and Premium.

On Eco and Premium, Save Your World keeps your supported game saves for up to a year after your service ends, including after a missed payment, and emails you a download link. Keep a copy or take it to another host. Return while the archive is available and CreeperPanel can set up the game and restore your save to your new service. Save Your World policy

Eco is an option for lighter packs. Premium is our usual recommendation for modded Minecraft, with newer hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory and Ask Theo. Choose room for the pack, world and friends you want to bring together.

CreeperHost's generative AI tools drafted this description from information freely available to the public and facts about our own hosting. Our pack automation has been built and improved by experienced members of the modded Minecraft community since 2017; AI helps us describe that enormous catalogue, it does not make the server packs.
