Host your Claw server

Host Claw as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on home for MrCrayfish’s collection of practical, playful mods. We handle the server side while you focus on vehicles, builds, equipment, and the occasional questionable furniture arrangement.

  • One-click installation gets the correct Claw version running quickly.
  • Updates preserve your configuration changes instead of flattening them.
  • Hosting from your gaming PC can cause stutters when it is busy running both client and server.
  • Home connections and sleep schedules make casual hosting unreliable for the rest of the group.
  • CreeperPanel keeps mod, config, inventory, and world tools within easy reach.

What to Expect from Claw

Claw 1.1.0 is a compact Forge modpack for Minecraft 1.15.2, built around MrCrayfish’s mods. Its 13-mod line-up adds more ways to furnish bases, carry equipment, travel, trade, and improve everyday play without becoming an enormous progression pack.

Recognisable additions include the Furniture Mod, Vehicle Mod, Backpacked, Goblin Traders, Golden Hopper, Enchantable, and JEI. Together, they make Claw a good fit for a shared survival world where players can build distinctive homes, collect useful gear, and get around in style.

Because the pack is relatively focused, new players are not faced with hundreds of unfamiliar systems before they can join in.

A Good Pack for a Social World

Claw works particularly well for smaller communities that want more variety than vanilla Minecraft without committing to a sprawling expert pack. Players can pursue their own builds and projects while still sharing one evolving world.

An always-online server matters here. Friends can expand the settlement, organise storage, trade, or head out exploring without waiting for the person who normally hosts the save. It also keeps the world separate from anyone’s personal computer, reducing the risk of an accidental deletion or a local machine problem taking the group offline.

Controller support through Controllable may also help groups with different play preferences, although each player still needs a compatible client installation.

Hosting Considerations for Claw

Claw is lighter than many large Forge packs, but it still benefits from a properly configured server. Forge startup, world generation, vehicles, active entities, and busy player-built areas can all affect tick performance. The impact usually depends more on how the world develops than on the headline mod count.

Memory needs commonly rise as players explore and load more chunks. Allowing unrestricted world exploration can make save files grow quickly, so sensible backups and occasional world management are worthwhile even for a modest group.

Minecraft 1.15.2 also means version matching matters. The server, Forge build, pack release, and player clients need to agree. CreeperPanel’s installer avoids much of the manual file hunting, while its GUI tools make later config or mod changes easier to review.

If lag appears, built-in diagnostics can help distinguish low memory from slow chunk generation, excessive entities, or a particular area of the world. That is far more useful than repeatedly adding RAM and hoping for the best.

Run Claw with CreeperHost

Our hybrid VPS platform gives Forge native CPU performance and stable server behaviour, backed by hardware chosen for modded Minecraft.

CreeperPanel handles installation, updates, backups, and everyday world management. If something behaves oddly, our team brings more than 13 years of modded hosting experience to the problem. Your group gets a Claw server that stays ready to play, without turning one friend into the unpaid server administrator.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
