Your MineColonies - Modpack server, with the useful bits included.
Host your MineColonies - Modpack server
Host MineColonies - Modpack as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give everyone a shared village that keeps running between sessions. Build, explore, complete quests, and protect your growing settlement without relying on one player’s PC.
- One-click installation gets the Forge pack running quickly.
- Home hosting ties the colony to one machine and connection.
- Cheap shared hosting can struggle as colony activity grows.
- Premium is our recommended range for a long-running world.
- CreeperPanel makes updates and configuration changes easier.
A Focused MineColonies Experience
Built for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge, this is a compact 13-mod pack centred on MineColonies rather than a sprawling kitchen-sink collection. Your group can establish a village, develop it together, explore the surrounding world, and handle its defence.
Supporting mods include Structurize and Domum Ornamentum for the pack’s building systems. JourneyMap helps players find their way around, while JEI and Just Enough Resources make recipes and materials easier to check.
That focused mod list makes the pack approachable, but the world itself can become a substantial long-term project. CreeperPanel can install updates while preserving your configuration changes, so routine maintenance does not mean rebuilding your setup each time.
Hosting Considerations for MineColonies - Modpack
MineColonies servers commonly become more demanding as settlements expand. More active colonists, loaded colony areas, pathfinding, and automation can increase tick time even when the pack’s overall mod count is modest. Fast, stable CPU performance usually matters more than simply adding excessive memory.
Plan Around the Active Colony
Keep an eye on simulation distance, view distance, and how many developed colonies remain loaded at once. A small group sharing one settlement will generally be easier to run than several players building separate colonies far apart.
Memory needs can rise with exploration and world growth, but assigning too much is not automatically helpful. Leave enough headroom for Forge and the operating system while avoiding an oversized Java heap that can lead to longer garbage-collection pauses.
Look After the World
New terrain generation can briefly increase load when several players explore in different directions. If your group plans a busy launch, generating the main play area ahead of time can smooth out those first expeditions.
Regular backups matter too. Colony worlds represent a lot of collective building time, and updates should be tested with a recoverable copy available. Premium is the sensible starting point for groups expecting several settlements, regular exploration, or a world intended to run for months.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware, which helps when colony simulation starts asking more from the server.
Built-in performance tools let you investigate lag without guessing. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When something genuinely odd happens, you can also reach people with more than 13 years of experience hosting modded Minecraft communities. Your colony gets to be complicated; running the server does not.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
