Hosting Considerations for Chicken Block

Skyblock worlds often generate less terrain than exploration-heavy packs, but that does not automatically make them lightweight. On a developed Chicken Block server, performance commonly depends more on what players build than how far they travel.

Large machine networks, item transport, storage systems, mob farms, and concentrated groups of animals can all add work to each server tick. Systems left running continuously matter too, especially when several players maintain separate production areas.

Minecraft 1.12.2 modpacks generally benefit from strong single-core CPU performance and enough memory headroom for Forge, the pack, active chunks, and Java’s garbage collection. Simply assigning excessive memory is not a cure for lag; sensible configuration and a fast processor usually matter more.

For a new island and a small group, requirements may be moderate. As quests advance and automation spreads, Premium gives you better room for long-running factories and busy sessions. It is also worth keeping an eye on:
