Better than Real life brings quest-led exploration, technology, and adventure to CreeperHost hosting. Built for Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge, this work-in-progress pack combines changing objectives, varied world generation, engineering systems, and discovery-focused progression.
Explore a World Full of Possibilities
Better than Real life encourages players to search for secrets while travelling through distinctive environments. Biomes O’ Plenty, Biome Bundle, Dregora, OpenTerrainGenerator, Ruins and Constructs, JourneyMap, and Weather2 contribute to a world shaped around exploration.
Decorative and building-focused mods such as Chisels & Bits, Decocraft, LittleTiles, MalisisDoors, Fairy Lights, and Extra Utilities provide ways to customise settlements and bases. Tough As Nails also adds environmental considerations that make journeys and survival more involved.
Choices Shape Your Progress
The pack’s central idea is consequence-driven questing. Decisions may temporarily or permanently close some quest paths, while previous choices can reveal hidden ones. That gives multiplayer groups reasons to compare outcomes and revisit unexplored possibilities.
Better Questing, Standard Expansion, the quest book, and CraftTweaker are included in the catalogue, although the pack is still being developed and its quest content and recipes may change over time.
Technology, Magic, and Crafting
Players can develop several distinct approaches to progression. Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Immersive Engineering, IndustrialCraft Classic, Mekanism, NuclearCraft, OpenComputers, ProjectRed, and Forestry support automation, processing, power, and storage projects.
Magic and specialised crafting are represented by Thaumcraft, Tinkers’ Construct, Armory, Armory Weaponry, Baubles, and related additions. Pam’s HarvestCraft, BrewCraft, Cooking for Blockheads, and Just Enough HarvestCraft expand food and farming options, while Storage Drawers and Ender Storage help organise gathered materials.
CreeperHost Tools for Modded Worlds
CreeperPanel provides one-click modpack installation and updates while preserving configuration changes. Built-in tools help manage files, mods, settings, players, inventories, worlds, and backups, with diagnostic features for investigating lag.
CreeperHost uses game-server hardware selected for strong native CPU performance and stability. DDoS protection and location choice are included, while experienced support staff have hosted modded communities since 2011. Eligible Premium and Pro services can also use Ask Theo to inspect the current panel state and prepare safe next steps for approval.
