Your Just Not Enough Mods (JNEM) server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Just Not Enough Mods (JNEM) server
Host Just Not Enough Mods (JNEM) as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on 1.14.4 world for exploration, automation, building, and shared progression.
- Install JNEM in a few clicks, without assembling 138 mods by hand.
- Premium plans offer the stronger CPU performance longer-running worlds tend to need.
- Home hosting stops being fun when the host PC sleeps, reboots, or ties up your connection.
- Casual server plans can struggle once machines, storage networks, and explored chunks accumulate.
- CreeperPanel includes tools for spotting lag and managing mods and configuration files.
Just Not Enough Mods Overview
JNEM is a mixed Forge pack for Minecraft 1.14.4, combining technology, exploration, RPG flavour, building tools, and practical quality-of-life additions. It has enough variety for players to follow different paths without turning every session into the same progression race.
The pack includes recognisable mods such as Industrial Foregoing, Mystical Agriculture, Refined Storage, XNet, Nature’s Aura, Quark, Waystones, and Iron Jetpacks. That gives a multiplayer group plenty to divide up: one player can build automation, another can explore, and somebody will inevitably construct a storage system nobody else understands.
The catalogue version is v0.5.3, using Forge 28.1.118 and 138 mods.
Hosting Considerations for Just Not Enough Mods
JNEM may be labelled as a smaller pack, but 138 mods still make server performance more involved than vanilla Minecraft. Premium is our usual recommendation when you expect an active group, substantial exploration, or a world that will run for months.
Modded Minecraft commonly depends heavily on fast single-core CPU performance. Memory matters too, particularly during startup and when several players load different areas, but simply adding more RAM does not cure slow ticks.
As your world develops, automation becomes the bigger consideration. Industrial Foregoing machines, Mystical Agriculture farms, Refined Storage networks, XNet systems, and other continuously running builds can add tick time when used at scale. Sensible chunk loading and tidy machine layouts help more than repeatedly restarting the server.
New terrain generation can also produce short spikes when players travel quickly in separate directions. Pre-generating the area around your main base can reduce that disruption. Our Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based servers are tuned around the CPU behaviour common to modded Minecraft.
Because this is an older Minecraft and Forge release, keep the pack, loader, and Java setup aligned. Back up the world before changing mods or updating versions, and avoid dropping newer mod builds into the server just because their names look familiar.
Planning a Better Multiplayer World
Agree on a few rules before everyone starts placing machines. Set boundaries for permanent chunk loading, keep large farms controllable, and avoid giving every player a separate always-running storage network.
It is also worth choosing a shared base area early. Waystones make travel easier, while centralised storage and processing can prevent duplicated builds from quietly consuming server tick time. If the world starts slowing down, CreeperPanel’s diagnostic tools can help identify whether the cause is entities, chunks, or a particular build rather than relying on guesswork.
Why Run JNEM with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded servers native CPU performance without leaving you to maintain a machine yourself. CreeperPanel handles installation, updates, and configuration changes while preserving your edits where possible.
If something behaves oddly, real support staff bring more than 13 years of modded Minecraft hosting experience. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
