This pack always tries to be on the bleeding edge of Minecraft releases, and updates come for multiple Minecraft versions in parallel.

Right now, the 1.20.1 version of the pack is the one I recommend because of its maturity and well-rounded selection of mods! For Minecraft versions newer than 1.20.1 it is very early and complicated because of Game Drops, and those will lack many mods for a long time

If a mod does not add anything new, useful or unique to the game, it will not be added to keep the pack relatively lightweight
