Host your SkyWorkshop server

Host SkyWorkshop as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a skyblock world that keeps running while everyone works through quests, builds machines, and expands the factory.

  • Install SkyWorkshop in a few clicks without assembling Forge and its mods by hand.
  • Avoid running it from a spare PC, which can struggle as automation and chunk loading increase.
  • Keep the world online without relying on one player’s computer or home connection.
  • Choose Premium for growing factories, long-running worlds, and extra performance headroom.
  • Manage updates and configs easily through CreeperPanel.

What Is SkyWorkshop?

SkyWorkshop is a Forge 1.16.5 skyblock pack built around quests and technical progression. Its 164 mods offer plenty to develop without turning the pack into an everything-and-the-kitchen-sink marathon.

The quest book contains more than 290 objectives, giving a multiplayer group clear jobs and shared milestones. Recognisable mods include Thermal Expansion, Tinkers’ Construct, Extreme Reactors, Integrated Dynamics, Botania, Mystical Agriculture, and Applied Energistics additions. Storage Drawers and Simple Storage Network help organise the results once production starts getting serious.

CreeperPanel can install the pack and apply available updates while preserving your configuration changes, so you do not have to rebuild the server every time the pack moves forward.

Hosting Considerations for SkyWorkshop

Skyblock worlds often generate less terrain than conventional exploration packs, but that does not mean they remain idle. The main server load commonly shifts toward machines, item transport, storage networks, farms, mob systems, and chunks kept active when nobody is nearby.

A fresh island for a small group can be relatively light. Later bases may behave very differently once several players have independent production lines, large inventories, or always-on processing. Chunk loaders deserve particular attention: useful machines running around the clock also mean the server must simulate those chunks around the clock.

Memory needs usually rise as the world develops and more systems remain loaded. CPU speed is equally important when pipes, networks, farms, and machine chains all tick together. For a longer playthrough or a group that enjoys ambitious automation, we generally recommend our Premium range rather than planning around the smallest possible server.

Good server habits still matter. Avoid huge numbers of loose items, retire machines that are no longer needed, and inspect builds before simply adding more memory. If performance changes suddenly, diagnostics can often identify a troublesome chunk, entity build-up, or expensive machine setup.

Why Run SkyWorkshop with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft native CPU performance, backed by modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware. That matters when a compact skyblock island quietly becomes an industrial knot of cables, farms, and storage systems.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag instead of leaving you to guess. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

We have hosted modded Minecraft communities for over 13 years. When SkyWorkshop gets weird, real support staff are here to help you untangle it.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
