Practically Vanilla is a small, light Minecraft pack for CreeperHost hosting, built around exploration, multiplayer, and improvements that keep the familiar character of vanilla play. It runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.4.2760 and focuses on utility, presentation, and convenience rather than introducing a heavily altered progression system.

A Familiar Minecraft Foundation

Practically Vanilla is designed to remain close to the standard game while adding helpful refinements. JourneyMap, Hwyla, WailaHarvestability, Just Enough Items, and Just Enough Resources improve access to information during exploration, crafting, and resource gathering. Inventory Tweaks, Mouse Tweaks, AppleSkin, and Better Advancements make everyday play easier to manage without changing the pack’s central vanilla feel.

The catalogue also includes features that smooth out common interactions, such as Quick Leaf Decay, Nether Portal Fix, Klee Slabs, and Silk Spawners. These additions support building, travel, and routine survival activities while preserving the familiar Minecraft setting.

Cosmetic and Client-Side Enhancements

The pack includes visual and interface-focused additions such as AmbientSounds, ChunkAnimator, CosmeticArmorReworked, Neat, Faithful, ModdedFaithful, BetterTitleScreen, and CustomCursorMod. Mob Amputation, Mob Dismemberment, and Mo’ Bends add presentation changes to creature encounters without defining a new game progression.

Several included additions are optional on the client side. The pack notes that some mods use LiteLoader and simply will not function without it, while remaining non-essential to the rest of the pack.
