Your MMCMedieval server, with the useful bits included.
Host your MMCMedieval server
Host MMCMedieval as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a shared medieval world for quests, combat, exploration, building, and magic—without leaving someone’s PC running all weekend.
- One-click installation gets the correct Forge pack onto your server quickly.
- Home hosting can struggle when several players generate terrain at once.
- Casual hosting often becomes awkward as worlds, backups, and configs accumulate.
- Native CPU performance helps keep combat and exploration responsive.
- Updates preserve your configuration changes rather than flattening your setup.
A Shared World of Swords and Sorcery
MMCMedieval 1.8 is a Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge pack containing 76 mods. It mixes medieval adventure with substantial magic, farming, crafting, and world-building options.
Biomes O’ Plenty, Mo’ Creatures, Ancient Warfare, Battlegear 2, and The Twilight Forest give groups plenty of reasons to travel and fight together. Thaumcraft, Blood Magic, Botania, and Witchery offer several magical paths, while Tinkers’ Construct, AgriCraft, Forestry, and Pam’s HarvestCraft support players who would rather develop the settlement.
That variety works particularly well on a server. Your explorers can bring back resources while builders, farmers, and aspiring dark wizards make the home base increasingly elaborate—and probably less compliant with village planning rules.
Hosting Considerations for MMCMedieval
Memory and processor demand
MMCMedieval is lighter than many modern kitchen-sink packs, but Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge still benefits from strong single-thread CPU performance. Memory use commonly rises as players visit more dimensions, establish larger bases, and leave increasing numbers of mobs, NPCs, farms, and storage systems active.
A small private group can often begin modestly. For an active or long-running world, we recommend the Premium range for stronger CPU headroom and more room to grow without moving the server later.
Exploration and world growth
Generating new terrain is commonly the busiest moment for an adventure pack. Several players travelling in different directions—or exploring The Twilight Forest while others roam the overworld—can create short tick-rate dips. Pre-generating frequently used areas can reduce those spikes, though it also makes the world files larger.
Keep regular backups before changing world-generation settings, removing mods, or making substantial configuration edits. Older Forge packs can be particular about matching mod and config files, so every player should use the same pack version as the server.
CreeperPanel’s GUI tools make routine mod and config management less fiddly, while built-in diagnostics help identify whether lag is coming from terrain generation, entities, or a particularly ambitious base.
Why Run MMCMedieval with CreeperHost?
We have spent more than 13 years hosting modded Minecraft communities, including the older Forge generations where version matching and Java behaviour matter.
Eligible Premium and Pro services also include Ask Theo. It can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what appears to be happening, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve. Real support staff remain available when the problem needs a human.
DDoS protection helps keep your world reachable, so your group can carry on adventuring without one player becoming the unpaid server caretaker.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
