Anti-Material Energy is the third entry in the Material Energy series, combining a purpose-built adventure map, lore, exploration, and HQM quests. It runs on Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge and contains 56 mods.

The technology roster includes Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Thermal Expansion, Minechem, Compact Machines, and Tinkers’ Construct. Together, they give your group plenty to build and automate without losing the pack’s guided, map-based structure.

Hosting Considerations for Anti-Material Energy

This is an older 1.7.10 pack, but age does not make it weightless. Mod count alone is a poor measure of server demand: established automation, large Applied Energistics networks, and machines processing continuously can matter more than the initial installation size.

ChickenChunks can keep selected areas ticking without nearby players. That is useful, but too many loaded chunks allow machines and other blocks to keep consuming server time around the clock. Torcherino-style tick acceleration can magnify the effect. Sensible chunk-loading rules and restraint around accelerated machinery usually prevent avoidable lag.

Premium is recommended when several players will build independently or the world will remain active for months. Faster single-core performance helps with the main server tick, especially as bases become more complicated.

Protect the Adventure Map

Because progression is tied to a prepared world, treat the map as part of the pack rather than a disposable save. Keep backups before changing mods, Forge builds, scripts, or quest configuration. Avoid generating a replacement world unless you deliberately want to lose the intended campaign structure.

For an established server, test changes carefully. Minecraft 1.7.10 mod dependencies can be particular, and replacing one apparently minor file may stop the pack loading or alter existing content.
