Combat Pack is a compact Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge pack built around multiplayer combat. Its small mod list keeps the focus clear: equip players, fortify positions, populate the map, and start fighting.
CombatPlus and Firearm Nail support the pack’s weapons-led theme, while OpenModularTurrets adds automated defences that can turn a simple base assault into a much tougher objective. Custom NPCs gives server owners tools for adding characters and encounters. Performance and map design
With seven mods, Combat Pack is lighter than the large kitchen-sink packs commonly associated with Forge. Running a legacy Forge pack
Minecraft 1.7.10 packs need their versions kept in step. Clients must use the expected pack release, and changing individual mods without testing can cause connection errors, missing content, or broken worlds.
Take a backup before adjusting mods, Forge builds, or important configs. For a purpose-built combat map, it is also worth testing turret placement, NPC behaviour, weapon rules, spawn areas, and team objectives before inviting everyone in.
