Harsh Survival and Progression

Early survival requires more than watching hunger. Tough As Nails introduces hydration and body temperature, while First Aid divides health across individual body parts. Basic flint tools shape the opening stages, and Hardcore Darkness makes shelter, lighting, and preparation especially important after sunset.

Progression spans a broad technological arc. Players move from wilderness survival toward chemical processing, automated factories, reactors, nuclear weaponry, and rocketry. Radiation mechanics add another hazard to advanced industry, while space travel provides a major long-term objective.
