Open-ended modded progression
Cube Soup Neo intentionally omits a conventional quest book. Instead, advancements can provide direction while leaving each group free to decide what to build, automate, explore, or master next. Recipes remain largely as their mod authors intended, reducing imposed restrictions on how different systems are approached.
The pack begins with an added survival challenge: new characters have only three hearts. Health can be restored and expanded through several included mechanics, including health booster tonics, Baubley Heart Canisters, Life Crystals, and food-based heart progression from The Spice of Life. This creates an early objective without defining a single route through the wider pack.
Technology, construction, and exploration
The included selection spans major technology and engineering mods such as Create, Mekanism, Industrial Foregoing, Silent Gear, Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Powah, and Draconic Evolution. Create Aeronautics is a featured part of the pack, extending its focus on Create-based engineering.
Storage, crafting, farming, and travel are represented through mods including Sophisticated Storage, Functional Storage, Mystical Agriculture, Iron Jetpacks, Waystones, and Building Gadgets. Explorify and Nature’s Spirit support the exploration side, while Chipped, Connected Glass, Rechiseled Create, and Copycats add more possibilities for detailed construction. The listed examples represent only part of the pack.
