RECORDED brings tense Minecraft horror to CreeperHost hosting, combining a hardcore survival experience with unsettling exploration on Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge. Its found-footage-inspired presentation uses body-camera visuals, distorted perspective, camera movement, and atmospheric sound to make every journey through the dark feel uncertain.
A Horror-Focused Survival Experience
RECORDED is built around psychological horror rather than ordinary progression. Darkness, limited visibility, strange sounds, and unpredictable threats create a persistent sense of danger. Abandoned cabins, watchtowers, improved mineshafts, and other structures give the world places to investigate while keeping exploration uneasy.
The pack also includes seasonal and weather features, enhanced visual effects, physics, footsteps, cave sounds, and environmental audio. Together, these additions make forests, underground areas, and abandoned locations feel more threatening without relying on combat alone.
Tactical Tools and Dangerous Encounters
Survival includes tactical equipment, firearms, breaching additions, night vision, stamina mechanics, backpacks, and starter equipment. These systems support a more deliberate approach to exploration, where movement, visibility, and preparation matter.
The modpack features several supernatural threats and horror entities, including The Midnight Lurker, The Mimic, The One Who Watches, The Masked, and other dangers listed in its catalogue. Voice chat and radio-related features can add another layer to group play, while corpse and inventory systems help reinforce the consequences of dying in a hostile world.
