Host your Tempest Protocol server

Host Tempest Protocol as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a shared RPG world for quests, colony building, magic, dragons, exploration, and the inevitable argument over who gets the best loot.

  • Premium is our recommended range for this large, long-running pack.
  • Home hosting can struggle once colonies, loaded chunks, and exploration start piling up.
  • Casual shared worlds stop when the host leaves; your CreeperHost server keeps running.
  • One-click installation and updates get the pack online without manual file wrangling.
  • Config changes are preserved during supported updates, so your tuning is not casually overwritten.

Tempest Protocol at a Glance

Tempest Protocol is a 289-mod adventure and RPG pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 using NeoForge. It combines Tensura-inspired progression with MineColonies, Ice and Fire, questing, magic, dungeons, and equipment progression.

That mix gives a multiplayer group several ways to contribute. Some players can develop the colony, others can chase quests or search for generated structures, while the boldest go looking for dragons and dangerous loot. Recognisable additions include FTB Quests, When Dungeons Arise, Apothic Enchanting, Totemic, and Xaero’s Minimap.

It is broad enough for different play styles, but connected enough that everyone’s progress still matters to the same world.

Made for a Shared, Long-Term World

Tempest Protocol benefits from a server that does not depend on one player keeping their PC switched on. Colonies can remain the group’s central project, explorers can return with new finds, and quest progress does not disappear into somebody’s forgotten local save.

CreeperPanel handles installation plus day-to-day mod and configuration management through a GUI. That is particularly useful with a pack of this size: you can make deliberate changes without digging through every server folder by hand.

Player inventory and world management tools also help when an adventure ends badly or an administrative mistake needs untangling.

Hosting Considerations for Tempest Protocol

Large RPG packs commonly become more demanding as their worlds mature. New terrain generation can cause short CPU spikes when players travel quickly in different directions, especially around structure-rich areas. Exploring together, setting a sensible world border, or pre-generating the main play area can reduce those surprises.

MineColonies settlements may add sustained server work as they expand. More citizens, active buildings, loaded colony chunks, mobs, and automation generally mean more ticking activity. This is why we recommend Premium for Tempest Protocol rather than treating it as a lightweight pack, particularly when several regular players are building in separate areas.

Memory needs can also grow with world size and active content. More memory is not a cure for every slowdown, though: simulation lag, runaway entities, and rapid chunk generation often need diagnosis rather than another heap upgrade.

Client shaders such as BSL or Complementary Reimagined mainly affect each player’s own machine. Lowering server RAM will not fix a client struggling to render shaders, and disabling them will not solve server-side tick lag.

Before pack updates or major config changes, take a backup and let the server finish a clean shutdown.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind.

Built-in diagnostic tools help identify whether lag is coming from chunks, entities, or ticking systems. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

We have hosted modded communities for over 13 years, and real support staff are available when your dragon-filled colony develops a problem no restart button can explain.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
