Exploration beyond the Overworld can leave a friend needing a hand rather than another set of directions. Player Manager shows you where a player is and what they're carrying or wearing, so you can see their situation from CreeperPanel.
You can then move a stranded player somewhere safe from the panel. There's no need to turn their predicament into a rescue expedition unless your friends actually fancy one.
