CreeperHost X NeoForge

For the worlds that become part of your life.

The starter house nobody ever demolishes. The machine room that outgrew the base three expansions ago. The friend who logs on for ten minutes and is still there when the sun comes up.

Modded Minecraft has a way of turning a folder full of blocks into somewhere you belong. We've spent years helping people build those places, and helping the projects that make them possible.

CreeperHost has been here since 2011. NeoForge is part of a story we're still writing, together.

People you might already know.

If you know NeoForge, you may already know Covers. Here, he's Laughlan, part of the CreeperHost crew. He's also a member of the NeoForge team. Paul, our founder, is part of NeoForge's infrastructure team.

We host NeoForge's release and dependency downloads on our infrastructure in Grantham. We also provide infrastructure for the project, including the servers behind its Kubernetes cluster. We provide game servers for testing, where the team can put its work through its paces. And we provide servers for their downtime, because the people making modded Minecraft possible deserve an evening actually playing it.

That connection runs through our people, our code and our hardware. When we say we care about the future of modded Minecraft, there are familiar faces doing the work.

A little of our history is in your downloads folder.

Our history with Feed The Beast goes back to the original FTB Launcher, long before the FTB App. We hosted its downloads, putting the servers and bandwidth behind the packs you were waiting to play.

That grew into more than a decade of working alongside FTB, providing infrastructure and later contributing to the FTB App and building Modpacks.CH. From those early launcher downloads to the tools that came later, we helped get packs from the people making them to the people itching to press Play.

We still host those legacy FTB downloads today. Launchers including MultiMC, Prism Launcher and PolyMC still use our infrastructure for their FTB Legacy catalogues and pack downloads, helping keep old favourites within reach for another playthrough.

We also hosted downloads for ATLauncher during its early years, helping get mods and packs into players' hands. Different launchers, different packs, the same wonderfully unreasonable ambition: take a game you love and see how much more it can become.

Projects grow, and the support they need can change. We may not be their host forever, but we're proud to have helped them along the way. FTB and ATLauncher both received significant support from CreeperHost during their journeys. Wherever their next chapter takes them, that shared history will always matter to us.

Then there are the quieter jobs. Forge's own installers still use our Maven mirror to download the libraries that modded Minecraft depends on, across classic versions and newer releases. That means storage and bandwidth behind your next playthrough, long before you pick a server host. It's a part of the journey you're unlikely to think about when everything works. We're proud to keep doing it.

FTB, ATLauncher, Forge, and now our work alongside NeoForge: years of showing up for the people whose projects fill your mods folder. Every download has somewhere to go. Sometimes it becomes a world you remember for the rest of your life.

A community worth keeping independent.

Modded Minecraft was always going to find a way. This community is far too stubborn and inventive for it to depend on any one company. But the way it grew mattered. Someone had to carry the downloads, host the tools and give ambitious projects room to breathe.

For years, we helped shoulder that work. Independent hosting can give community projects room to make their own decisions, on their own terms. That freedom is worth putting hardware, bandwidth and working hours behind.

Would modded Minecraft be the same without CreeperHost? That's for the community to judge. We're proud to have helped give it choices.

Still making room for the next idea.

NeoForge gives modders the foundations to make new things happen in Minecraft. We help look after the infrastructure around that work, and back opportunities for more people to get involved.

In 2025, we helped fund NeoForge's Serverside Summer competition alongside CurseForge, supporting new open source mods that work on the server without needing players to install them on their clients. More things to build. Fewer steps between an invitation and joining your friends.

Meet the Serverside Summer projects.

All that experience comes home to your server.

We build CreeperPanel ourselves, with tools shaped by the realities of running modded worlds. Extra mods added through the panel are kept separately so pack updates don't remove them. Config Layers let you adjust supported mod settings and reapply those changes when you update. The Crash Report Explainer helps turn a failed start into something you can understand and act on.

And when you need a hand, our support team can work through the pack, the settings and the logs with you. The world you've spent months building deserves that attention.

Bring the pack you've been meaning to try. Bring the friends who insist this time they'll build somewhere sensible. Leave room for the machine room.

We've spent years helping modded Minecraft get here. We'd love to host what you do with it next.

Got questions?

CreeperHost is not a reseller in a hoodie. We build and run the important bits ourselves, from CreeperPanel and the server-side tools behind it to serious network and hardware work. We have been hosting game communities since 2011, with a small indie team that actually plays, mods, debugs, and supports the stuff we sell.

Ask Theo is our CreeperPanel server assistant for Premium and Pro services. Theo can check live server state, explain what he finds, look at what the panel is showing, and prepare safe panel actions for you to approve. He is there to help you get from "something feels wrong" to useful evidence and a sensible next step.

Theo can check your server, explain what he finds and help prepare a support ticket with useful details. Our team can pick up the conversation with the context already there, so you can spend more time on the world and less time repeating yourself.

Theo runs on CreeperHost-controlled hardware and works with your live server and panel. He gathers useful facts, explains the next step and prepares supported changes for you to approve.

Minecraft, especially modded Minecraft, is a huge part of our history. It is not the whole story. CreeperHost supports a wide catalogue of games and keeps adding better panel tools for more of them, from simple survival servers to heavier modded and community setups.

We build CreeperPanel around actually using a game server. The console suggests supported commands with examples and Tab completion. Editor tabs check for changed files before saving, and folders download as ZIPs. Game-specific tools help with mods, players and diagnostics, with Theo included on Premium and Pro.

Hybrid VPS is what we call our OpenVZ hosting. You get your own server environment with CreeperPanel to install games, change settings and look after your worlds. We handle the operating system; you make the server yours. Choose Eco or Premium around the games you want to run and the resources they need.

Nope. If you want to click around CreeperPanel and keep things simple, you can. If you want to go deeper with files, configs, mods, SSH on supported plans, or custom setups, you can do that too. The point is control without making every customer become a sysadmin.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard when your world grows, shrinks, or gets suddenly ambitious. Eco is a solid budget entry point, Premium is the recommended everyday CreeperHost experience, and Pro is there when you want dedicated hardware.

Try the server with your own world and your group. Open the refund option in CreeperPanel to see the amount and whether it returns to your payment method or account credit before you confirm. The request is processed automatically. Your service and how long you have had it determine the options shown.
