Your Blindness server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Blindness server
Blindness brings a distinctive Minecraft 1.20.1 challenge to CreeperHost hosting, replacing ordinary sight with sound, touch, and careful exploration. Built for Forge 47.2.20, this Small / Light, Vanilla+ pack creates a fundamentally different way to experience the Overworld.
A World Seen Through Sound
In Blindness, your vision is gone, so the world cannot be read through its normal appearance. Sound reflections reveal outlines of nearby blocks and creatures, giving you another way to understand what surrounds you. Touch also plays an important role, allowing you to identify cubes and creatures in front of you.
This changes familiar activities into deliberate discoveries. Moving through the world, recognising nearby threats, and finding your way all depend on listening and interpreting what your senses reveal rather than relying on ordinary sight.
Inventory and Effects
Your backpack contents are not directly visible, but your sense of touch lets you understand what it contains. This makes item management part of the pack’s central challenge instead of a routine visual task.
Night vision and blindness effects can significantly alter the way the game appears, so they require care when used. The LiveStreamer version is available for players recording video, streaming, or preferring reduced noise performance. OptiFine is required and must be installed manually.
CreeperHost Features for Blindness
CreeperPanel supports one-click modpack installation and updates that preserve your configuration changes. Built-in tools help you manage files, mods, settings, players, inventories, worlds, and backups from one panel. Diagnostic tools can also help investigate lag when needed.
CreeperHost uses game-server hardware selected for strong native CPU performance and stability. DDoS protection and location choice are included, giving you practical control over where your Blindness world runs and added protection for the service.
Support for Modded Communities
Real support staff are available, with experience hosting modded communities since 2011. For eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel state and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
That combination of panel tools and experienced support helps keep the technical side organised while you focus on Blindness’s unusual gameplay: exploring without normal vision, reading sound reflections, handling items through touch, and learning to interpret a world that can no longer be seen in the usual way.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
