Host your Blood and Fortune server

Host Blood and Fortune as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on world built for exploration, combat, and SMP rivalry. We handle the server side while you focus on expeditions, boss fights, alliances, and the inevitable argument over somebody’s missing gear.

  • One-click installation gets the Forge 1.20.1 pack running quickly.
  • Native CPU performance keeps combat and world generation responsive.
  • Home hosting can struggle when several players explore new terrain at once.
  • A casually hosted world stops whenever its owner’s PC or connection does.
  • Updates preserve your configuration changes instead of undoing your tuning.

Blood and Fortune at a Glance

Blood and Fortune is a relatively light adventure and RPG pack with 107 mods, shaped around multiplayer combat and exploration. It expands the places you can visit, the creatures you encounter, and the ways players approach a fight.

Epic Fight gives combat a more action-focused feel, while Alex’s Caves, Alex’s Mobs, Biomes O’ Plenty, and Regions Unexplored broaden the world. Larger encounters come from additions such as L_Ender’s Cataclysm, with Mahou Tsukai adding magic to the mix. Farmer’s Delight and Supplementaries give players quieter projects between expeditions.

That combination works well for an SMP where cooperation is useful, but PvP and competing ambitions are never far away.

Hosting Considerations for Blood and Fortune

Although this is smaller than many sprawling kitchen-sink packs, its exploration content still matters to server performance. Generating fresh chunks commonly creates short CPU spikes, especially when several players travel in different directions. Fast storage and strong single-thread CPU performance help keep those moments from turning into prolonged lag.

World pregeneration can make an established play area smoother and reduce surprise generation spikes later. It also increases world size, so choose a sensible border rather than generating terrain nobody will visit. Regular backups become increasingly important as that explored world grows.

Memory needs will usually be more moderate than those of large automation packs, but player activity, loaded chunks, entities, and long sessions all add up. Assign enough memory for comfortable headroom without blindly allocating excessive amounts, which can make Java garbage collection less predictable.

For a small group, start conservatively and watch actual usage. A busy public SMP or long-running world is better placed on our Premium range, particularly when players regularly split up to explore. Sensible simulation and view-distance settings can also protect tick rate without making the world feel cramped.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our Hybrid VPS platform gives Blood and Fortune native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded Minecraft. That is particularly useful when exploration and combat place sudden demands on the server.

CreeperPanel handles installation, updates, and day-to-day config changes without requiring you to dig through every file manually. Its diagnostic tools also help identify whether lag is coming from chunk generation, entities, or another common modded-server troublemaker.

We have hosted modded communities for over 13 years, and real support staff are available when your SMP develops a problem that cannot be solved by restarting it and hoping politely.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
