Reaching Darkness is an expert-style adventure and RPG pack for Minecraft 1.19.2, built on Forge. Its 148 mods combine exploration, combat, magic, world generation, and some engineering.

The Aether, Blue Skies, and Deeper and Darker expand the places your party can visit, while When Dungeons Arise and The Graveyard add more reasons to travel. Cataclysm brings serious combat encounters, and Apotheosis strengthens the RPG side of progression.

It is not exclusively about fighting. Ars Nouveau and Botania provide substantial magical paths, while Create gives technically minded players machinery to build between expeditions. That mixture works particularly well on a shared server, where players can specialise and regroup for the dangerous bits.
