Host your Captive 2 server

Captive 2 server hosting with CreeperHost keeps your expanding-border skyblock world in good order. Built for Minecraft 1.18.2 on Forge, Captive 2 combines hardcore play and quests with progression centred on pushing beyond the starting world border. That makes each bit of progress worth protecting, especially when your friends have worked their way through a tight early game.

Protecting border expansion progress

A bad update or an experiment with server changes can undo far more than a misplaced block in a pack where progress opens new ground. SaveGuard is available on eligible Premium and Pro services, creating restore points on separate dedicated storage rather than using your allocated server disk.

Before you roll back, CreeperPanel saves the server’s current state and shows which files would be added, changed or removed. You can check the consequences before committing, rather than hoping an old save is the right one. That matters when a world border, quest progress and carefully arranged skyblock builds have all moved on together.

SaveGuard stores changed data between points, so the protection is designed around keeping restore history without treating your active game node as the only place it exists. When something goes sideways, you have a clearer route back to a known moment.

Finding what is slowing the skyblock

When a compact skyblock base grows into a maze of machines, farms and storage, “it feels laggy” is not much to work with. Live diagnostics in CreeperPanel show current TPS alongside dimension, entity and block-entity counts, letting you see whether one area is getting crowded.

The profiler then points to the entity or block-entity types taking the most tick time. You can look at the actual troublemaker before tearing apart a working build or blaming the wrong mod. That is particularly handy as Captive 2 progression encourages your world to change in stages: the server can tell you what changed with it.

Keeping a world after a pause

A long break does not have to mean abandoning the border your group earned. Saved Worlds keeps world and save data still present when a service ends for one year. If you return later, choose the previous Minecraft instance in the panel and restore that world in one action.

CreeperPanel recreates the instance and installs the required version as part of that return, so you are not left piecing an old save back together by hand. Saved Worlds is for picking up after time away; SaveGuard remains the protection for an active server.

Got questions?

Yes. Order from a modpack page and the selected pack is ready to install. You can also change versions or choose another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

Our installer prepares the Minecraft version, loader and server files, setting aside recognised client-only mods and addons that depend on them. On supported Forge and NeoForge startup paths, our tools can identify a further client-only crash, disable the responsible file and restart your instance. The file is retained, the panel explains what changed, and that file is remembered for future installations. We have been building our client-pack-to-server tooling since 2017.

Yep. Search for extra mods in CreeperPanel, then install, update, enable or disable them alongside your pack. The panel checks the Minecraft version and modloader, brings in required dependencies and identifies known client-only mods. Your additions stay separate from the pack files, ready for the next pack update.

On Premium and Pro services, SaveGuard keeps recovery points on separate backup storage and shares unchanged data between snapshots. Choose an available point in CreeperPanel: it makes a fresh backup of your current world and shows the files the restore will change before you confirm.

Open Instant Refund in CreeperPanel to see your available refund amount and whether it returns to your payment method or account credit. Review the details, confirm, and it is processed automatically. Instant Refund is available on both Eco and Premium.

On Eco and Premium, Save Your World keeps your game saves for up to a year after your service ends, including after a missed payment, and emails you a download link. Keep a copy or take it to another host. Return within that time and CreeperPanel can set up the game and restore your save to your new service.

Eco is an option for lighter packs. Premium is our usual recommendation for modded Minecraft, with newer hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory and Ask Theo. Choose room for the pack, world and friends you want to bring together.

CreeperHost's generative AI tools drafted this description from information freely available to the public and facts about our own hosting. Our pack automation has been built and improved by experienced members of the modded Minecraft community since 2017; AI helps us describe that enormous catalogue, it does not make the server packs. We review and replace these drafts as time allows or when somebody flags one for the human touch. Spotted an inaccuracy? Please let us know.
