Arcane Isles is a quest-led magic pack for Minecraft 1.19.2, running on Forge. Its central pair is Ars Nouveau and Hex Casting, supported by Ars expansions that broaden the available magical tools and possibilities.

With 93 mods, it remains more focused than many sprawling kitchen-sink packs. That makes it easier for a group to pursue a shared direction without every player disappearing into an unrelated tech tree.

There is still plenty beyond spellcraft. Farmer’s Delight supports food and farming, Sophisticated Backpacks and Sophisticated Storage help organise island life, while Decorative Blocks, Supplementaries, and Macaw’s building mods offer ways to make a floating base look deliberate rather than accidentally airborne.

Arcane Isles is not enormous by modern modpack standards, but mod count alone never tells the whole story. Magic systems, inventories, farms, storage networks, entities, and loaded chunks can all add server work as a world matures.

CPU and memory

Strong per-core CPU performance usually matters most for keeping ticks steady. Memory needs commonly rise with player activity, explored areas, and the number of systems kept running at once. Start with sensible headroom rather than the smallest possible plan, then review actual usage after your group has progressed.
