Race Against the Hive Server Hosting

Race Against the Hive is a Minecraft modpack for CreeperHost hosting, built around a desperate race through a hostile 1.12.2 world. Using Forge 14.23.5.2860, the pack combines adventure, RPG, magic, and science-fiction themes as parasitic creatures spread across the Overworld. Their numbers increase over time, turning exploration into a fight against an expanding threat.

Escape the Hive

The central challenge is reaching another dimension before the world becomes overrun. Other dimensions offer temporary sanctuary because the parasites cannot flourish there, but safety is never permanent: returning to your dimension is required before travelling onward. Your long-term objective is to reach The End and complete the game while managing the growing danger behind you.

Combat, Exploration, and Progression

Race Against the Hive features hostile encounters with creatures such as Mutant Beasts, Mowzie’s Mobs, Infernal Mobs, and the Scape and Run: Parasites content represented in the catalogue. Battle Towers add dangerous points of interest, while Twilight Forest and Aether provide additional dimensions to discover. Waystones support travel between explored locations, and Spartan Weaponry and Spartan Shields expand the available combat equipment.

Magic and character progression are supported by systems including Baubles, Trinkets and Baubles, Patchouli, Potion Fingers, and enchantment information tools. Bloodmoon can make the night especially threatening, while Weather2 adds changing weather conditions to the world. Tree harvesting, the Disenchanter, and Just Enough Items provide practical assistance during preparation and exploration.
