- Built for ongoing worlds: Scheduled play sessions can turn into a shared world your group joins whenever it likes.
- Protected online play: DDoS protection helps keep unwanted traffic away from your server.
A Vanilla+ Advancement Challenge
BACAP is a relatively light Fabric modpack built around the BlazeandCave advancement datapack. Rather than replacing Minecraft with large technology or magic systems, it adds direction and challenge to familiar survival play.
That makes it a good fit for groups that enjoy exploration, completion goals, and seeing who can tick off the next objective first. The pack contains 48 mods, including performance-focused additions such as FerriteCore, Krypton, Sodium, and Starlight, alongside visual and interface improvements.
Many of those graphical touches are experienced on each player’s computer. Your hosted server handles the shared world, advancement progress, mobs, chunks, and everything your group changes over time.
Better as a Shared World
Advancement-driven packs work particularly well when the world remains available between organised sessions. Players can pursue their own goals, cooperate on difficult objectives, or return later without passing save files around.
A permanent server also avoids tying progress to one person’s machine. CreeperPanel gives you straightforward access to files, mods, and configuration, so you can manage the pack without treating server administration as a second hobby.
Because BACAP stays close to ordinary Minecraft, it can also suit mixed groups. Experienced players get a broader set of targets, while less technical players are not immediately confronted with sprawling machine networks or unfamiliar crafting systems.
Hosting Considerations for BlazeandCave's Advancements ModPack
BACAP is lighter than many large kitchen-sink packs, but server demand still depends on how your group plays. Rapid exploration generates new chunks, while farms, dense mob populations, and heavily developed bases can increase tick time as the world matures.
The pack includes several optimisation mods, although some entries in the client pack are graphical or interface-only. Server performance still relies on strong CPU speed, sensible view and simulation distances, and enough memory for the world and active players.
For a small group, start conservatively and adjust after observing real play. Avoid allocating excessive memory simply because it is available; Java servers can perform poorly when oversized as well as when starved. Keep regular backups before pack updates or configuration changes, especially once the world has accumulated meaningful advancement progress.
Built-in diagnostic tools can help identify whether lag comes from chunk generation, entities, farms, or another server-side cause rather than relying on guesswork.
Why Run BACAP with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware chosen for modded Minecraft, helping world generation and server ticks stay responsive.
CreeperPanel handles installation and day-to-day management. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain likely problems, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When something genuinely odd happens, you can still speak to real people backed by more than 13 years of modded Minecraft hosting experience.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
