Your Admin server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Admin server
Host Admin as a CreeperHost multiplayer server and give your friends an always-on place to experiment with its weapons, exploration tools, and railway builds—without leaving somebody’s PC running all weekend.
- Stay online: Home hosting stops when the owner’s PC or connection does.
- Leave room to build: Casual servers can struggle as explored chunks and railway projects accumulate.
- Install quickly: CreeperPanel handles the modpack setup without manual file juggling.
- Keep your changes: Pack updates preserve your configuration edits.
- Find problems faster: Built-in diagnostics help track down lag before guesswork begins.
Admin Modpack Overview
Admin is a compact Forge pack for Minecraft 1.16.5, built around multiplayer experimentation with admin weapons. Its smaller, focused mod list makes it approachable for a group that wants quick access to the pack’s main idea rather than a sprawling progression tree.
The included selection also supports larger shared projects. Immersive Railroading and TrackAPI bring railway building into the mix, while JourneyMap and JEI make navigation and recipe checking easier. AppleSkin and Controlling add familiar quality-of-life touches.
That combination lends itself to a relaxed server: test unusual gear, explore together, then turn the world into an increasingly ambitious rail network because somebody said, “How hard could it be?”
Hosting Considerations for Admin
With seven listed mods, Admin is much lighter than a typical kitchen-sink pack. A small friend group will commonly have modest requirements, although actual performance still depends on what players build and how widely they explore.
Immersive Railroading is the main feature to watch over time. Extensive tracks, multiple moving trains, busy stations, and frequently loaded areas can make an established world more demanding than a fresh server. This does not automatically mean poor performance; it means the server should be sized for the world you intend to create, not just the initial mod count.
Keep the installation matched
The pack uses Minecraft 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.34. Keep server and client pack versions aligned, especially after changing mods or updating the pack. Mismatched Forge builds and altered dependencies are common causes of failed connections and startup errors.
Back up the world before substantial updates or configuration changes. If performance starts dipping, check tick timings and entity activity before removing mods or changing several settings at once. A measured change is much easier to assess—and much easier to undo.
For a few friends starting a new world, a lighter plan may be enough. If you expect a long-running railway world, frequent exploration, or several active players, Premium gives you more breathing room as the map develops.
Run Admin with CreeperHost
Our hybrid VPS platform uses modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind, helping Forge servers maintain stable tick performance as worlds grow.
On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain likely causes of an issue, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve. It is backed by real people who have spent more than 13 years hosting modded communities, so help is available when a compact pack finds a surprisingly creative way to misbehave.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
