Etho's Modded Season 2 combines 86 Forge mods across technology, magic, combat, building, and exploration. It runs on Minecraft 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.22.

Mekanism brings substantial machinery and processing, while Botania and Psi offer different approaches to magic. Biomes O' Plenty, The Twilight Forest, BetterEnd Forge, and additional structures give groups plenty of reasons to travel. Farmer's Delight, Quark, Supplementaries, Tetra, and Sophisticated Backpacks add useful depth to everyday play without turning every session into factory management.

That mix works particularly well in multiplayer: some players can build production lines while others tackle dimensions, hunt mobs, cook, decorate, or return home carrying far too many backpacks.

Hosting Considerations for Etho's Modded Season 2

This is a medium-sized pack, but mod count alone does not decide how demanding a server becomes. The busiest moments commonly come from terrain generation, active machines, loaded dimensions, mob-heavy areas, and large storage or transport networks.

Exploration is often the first pressure point. When several players head in different directions, the server must generate multiple areas simultaneously. Pre-generating the main world can reduce those spikes, especially before inviting a larger group. New dimensions will still need time to generate when players first enter them.

Long-running worlds usually become more CPU-sensitive as bases expand. Mekanism machinery, farms, minecart systems, and permanently loaded areas can add tick time when built at scale. Sensible chunk loading and shutting down unused contraptions help more than simply assigning excessive memory.

Memory should leave room for Forge, the active world, and player activity without crowding the host system. Too little causes frequent garbage collection or crashes; too much can produce unnecessarily long pauses.
