Hekkawick is a Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge pack built around magic, exploration, combat, and RPG-flavoured multiplayer. Ars Nouveau, Hexerei, and Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks give players several magical paths rather than one prescribed progression.
Beyond the spellbooks, The Aether, Blue Skies, Dungeon Crawl, Terralith, and Towns and Towers broaden the places your group can discover. Ice and Fire, Alex’s Mobs, and Mowzie’s Mobs help ensure those journeys are not quiet sightseeing trips.

Terrain generation commonly produces the sharpest CPU load. Several players travelling in different directions can make the server generate multiple areas simultaneously, causing delayed chunks or brief tick slowdowns. Using Chunky to generate the main play area ahead of time can smooth out busy launch nights, though it should be run in a controlled session rather than alongside peak play.
Memory needs usually grow with player activity, loaded chunks, and the age of the world. More memory is not a cure for every slowdown: strong single-core CPU performance remains important for Forge servers, especially when mob AI, structures, and active magic systems overlap.
Keep the server and every player on the same pack release. Adding extra mods or changing generation settings mid-world deserves a backup first; mismatched dependencies and altered world-generation mods are common causes of failed starts and awkward borders.
